- The Legal Aid and Public Interest Litigation Committee met on 28th August 2018. Members discussed the committees’ strategic plan for 2018. Members agreed to periodically conduct legal aid clinics that are more inclusive and well publicized. Members agreed to engage sponsorship of key non- governmental institutions to fund its activities. They also resolved to develop a work plan and conceptual paper for the Committee. The Committee now welcomes expression of interest from the membership by Advocates and Senior Counsel who would like to handle Public Interest Litigation and Legal Aid matters to reach us through Pauline Kenyatta at pkenyatta@nairobilaw.or.ke.
